The Quarter Year Crisis Book Tag/ Reading Blog

This wrap-up might make no sense to you, reading this, but trust me, this is the place I feel okay with letting go of a bit of my chaos. Well, I just had a meltdown because I started three books, and none of them is working for me right now. When you are stuck in bed, and the only thing saving you is books, but any one you start isn’t what you need right now. What do you do? What I did was blast the AC on cold since we are already getting sunny summer days. Then I listened to two songs, and I was okay.
What I don’t get is that I’m an adult, and I still get meltdowns when I have too many emotions to deal with. I have been stuck in bed since the beginning of March, so I’m guessing it has something to do with that. Now, I started The Playdate List by Elliot Rayne, a psychological thriller that wasn’t on my TBR, but that’s how my reading has been this month. Right now, I need a thriller so I can keep guessing how it ends, not my personal ones, which keep going in a loop.
Regarding Readathin, I saw the prompts on Discard. Typically, Donna does an announcement, so I was waiting for that. Likely, I saw a post from another creator and found that it was posted in the Discord channel. Luckily, I saw it on the 26th, so I could add the books I was missing to my TBR in time. I also know that if I don’t manage a prompt, it won’t be the end of the world.
