Bookish Quotes Part 1

I want to do a post that is light on my mind and, at the same time, helps me get my books better organised. I’m not where I like to be reading-wise, and it’s not that I’m not reading or listening to books, because I am, but I’m reading thicker books than I was last year I avoided plus I haven’t added all the books I read on Goodreads, so it feels like I’m more behind than reality.

At the end of the day, numbers don’t matter because reading is a tool for my mental health and my hobby. At the start of the year, I commented that Goodreads wasn’t saving my quotes, meaning the ones I highlighted. I wanted to find and share the ones I collected in one place, hence this post. What I find cool is that most of the books I highlighted from are not or little-known, but I’m realising there are a lot of them, so I might do two posts instead of one.
