Let’s start with the books, which were the good part of this month, even if I didn’t have any five-star books, books like This Book Made Me Think of You by Libby Page (which I remembered I had a bookish post planned, which I haven’t had time to do, and forgot about it). A thriller I really enjoyed was The Girl in the Woods by Lorna Dounaeva.

If you are looking for a twisty thriller, give this one a go. For a nonfiction, I would suggest Shayla and Friends: A True Story of Rescue, Faith, and Finding Home by Barchelle Bolger Wathen (my current read). I can’t believe I read nearly 100 books this month. I followed Readathin prompts for most of the month. However, being stuck in bed meant I couldn’t do the outside prompts. The day I’m writing on is the 27th, my dad’s birthday.

I did some fun posts, and I had more planned, but I didn’t get to them. There is always next month if the next two days go well, that is. The reason I’m writing this now is that I’ll be spending the next two days in the hospital. By the time this post is up, I should be out, but I’m unsure if I will be in the mood to blog. I plan to take part in the Tarot readathon if I figure out how to sign up. One last thing, I’m very behind on looking at emails and comments. I promise I’ll get to them at some point.
