So, one thing I’m surely thankful for is my friend Rosia for telling me about be-sure-a-thon, and not only did I make a ton of friends with bookish content creators, but as a birthday gift, mum gave me 12 euros to join Sasha Patron and join the pack. If you haven’t guessed in my posts, I love reading sprints; everyone in the group is fantastic.
I have had a couple of 5 stars, like No Ordinary Hate by Whitney Dineen and The Lost One: A Russian Legacy by Penelope Haines, since Be Sure-a-thon is a readathon based on Wayward Children Series by Seanan McGuire. So, of course, I thought this was the perfect time to reread the first four books of the series and continue the series. My favourite is still Every Heart a Doorway.
Finally, I can tell you for sure that I will be moving next month because, around the time this post is scheduled, I should be signing the contract fingers crossed everything goes okay. After all, at this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t. By the way, I haven’t seen the place in person; I’m signing based on what my family told me and what I saw on video, which isn’t something I would suggest to anyone.
However, since the lift isn’t switched on, I don’t have any other way. Likely, I won’t have internet for some parts of February doing poetry month because I can sit down and write however comes to mind. The only readathon I will join for sure is Read-a-thin. I know other readathons are happening this month, but I’m still unsure if I’m joining.
Alex
