  1. I’m sorry you’re not having a great time right now. I’ve just been watching Misery, the film of the Stephen King novel. I’m also listening to Q and A, a radio adaptation of Vikram Seth’s book which was made into the film Slumdog Millionaire. Why not blog about your favourite adaptations of novels?

  2. You may like to look into reviewing audio drama podcasts. Considering they have to accomplish the task that descriptions in books or scenery in a movie do, you may find some interesting points to write about.

  4. I’m sorry you’re not feeling the Mae West, Alex. I find blogging about food the easiest as it’s such an everyday thing – perhaps an introduction to local flavours?

  5. We all go through writer’s slump. When I need inspiration, I start reading books, newspapers, magazines on different topics, listen to podcasts… Finding something you LOVE to do — I have taken up drawing and painting, suddenly, I am learning something NEW and do not have time to be in a slump. You write lovely poems.
