Sorrows by Leonardo Amor

I played music randomly by going to the Release Radar playlist and using the first song that plays while in shuffle mode, which doesn’t always work out. I might be speaking too soon because I haven’t looked to see if the lyrics are available; no, I wasn’t lucky. It’s something I’m seeing more and more: song lyrics that can’t be found anywhere; the reasons can be two: one is because it is a newer release, or two, they are fearing AI, and I don’t blame them if that’s the case.

The song I picked is Sorrows by Leonardo Amor; the lyric “These teardrops running down” reminded me of Taylor Swift’s “Teardrops on My Guitar.” A song I used to sing badly as a teen. How would you feel if one of the people who hurt you the most started working at your company, and not only that, they joined your team? It happened to me, and I feared for my well-being since everything happened pre-transition, so they know a lot of things that can be used as a weapon, but I think I’m free of the storm, since it has been since April. I think not being able to go to the office helped, so that’s a silver lining for you.

Forgive:

I knew I would never forget

But since years have passed

Since the ear has been triggered by the voice

That I never thought it would take me right that

To the hand on my body

When I tried to say no

To what everyone saw as fun and games
