High Blood Pressure: All You Need To Know

I’m overwhelmed with thoughts from this month, so please bear with me. I took nearly 2 weeks off from work, thinking my wheelchair would be here. I was mistaken, sadly, since customs didn’t release it, and the technician left on Friday, so I need them to return to get my chair, and who knows when that will be. This is a bit weird to be proud of, but I believe I joined a sprint a day, so yeah, I made a few new friends from the book community and got to know others better. A couple of buddy reads are in the works, so I’m really excited for those. I have no clue how many books I read, but it feels like less than normal.

I have a bad habit of going or signing up for readathons blindly (I’m ashamed of it), but I don’t get how most readathon systems work. Still, I join because I love the book community, and everyone is different, but we share a love of reading. You could say I haven’t left my room, so sprints felt pretty normal. Before, I forget again my thoughts on Kristin Hannah’s books. I gave The Women 4 stars (since I loved Frankie’s character). Then The Four Winds and Home Front were 3 stars, in my opinion; they were good, but would I reread them? The answer is no. Winter Garden and The Great Alone were 2 stars for me; I get why some love them, but I felt like they were almost written by a different person.

I could have sworn I downloaded The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia as an audio for a post last year, but I can’t find it on my laptop or on the site; I guess I’m losing books instead of my marbles. I haven’t had any 5-star books this month. Am I the only one who is pretty stubborn about giving a thriller a full rating? It would need to be top-notch. My issue with Mystic Readathon was that books under 100 pages didn’t count, so the short ones I planned have to wait until next month. I found that Jessie Garcia released a novel called The Fair Weather Friend; has anyone read it?
