Hold On by Derek Hough

This is the first time that I have done these posts. I have a story from this thing called life, a song I want to share with you, but I don’t have a start or an end, but that’s ok because I’m doing what my passion knows how to do best, which is to write. We think we know about the people we are close to, but what we seem to forget is that, like, we keep secrets only our soul knows, maybe out of shame or out of pain. So you might have guessed my dating was never great, but stories from life come and go from the mind.

I think it’s normal that I wish to find love; the last person was someone I cared about a lot, but something I didn’t see coming put my mental health in danger. I’m safe now, but the reason I’m opening up about it is that when you are in it, you don’t see a way out at all. Back in May, I was dealing with a health issue, and I still don’t have answers, but I had someone mirroring my symptoms and saying they don’t long to live, on top of not having my wheelchair. Which made me crash, and yes, on the outside I looked well. If you are reading this and going through anything related. Time won’t heal it, but it will teach you how to live with it.

I’m sharing the music video for some reason; I had a hard time finding the lyrics.

Life:

It starts with you saying

You had enough and can’t take any more on

But life, being life, doesn’t care who you are

Or that you are already trying to heal a scar

Like a book you want to read

But the pages are wordless.
