This has the vibe of being a short post since I’m running late once again. By the way, please let me know that I’m not the only bookworm who has so many book files that I don’t know which is which! I don’t want to moan because I already read half of the list from last week, but if you want to learn more about my stats, check out tomorrow’s post. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl, who has a new weekly topic.
September 30: Book Covers that Give off Fall Vibes (Or, if you’re not a cover person, share the books in general that feel like Fall.) As always, I misread the prompt and downloaded 10 books from my Kindle that gave me Fall vibes.

Goodreads Blurb:
Paris in the fall.
The Eiffel tower, the blanket of colorful leaves on the ground of the Jardin du Luxembourg, the picturesque cobbled streets of Montmartre.
Sounds amazing, right? That’s exactly what I thought when my boss offered me to come here to critique restaurants.
Well, the reality is a completely different beast.
There is no accordion music playing in the street, the city smells like smoke, and I have yet to see a single guy wearing a beret! This was all a lie.
To top it all, I’m now a prisoner of this city because of a national strike keeping all planes on the ground and flooding hotels capacities. At least one cliché wasn’t false.
Enter Olivier Brun, chef of a Michelin star restaurant and as hot as a pizza oven who offers me a room and even cooks me breakfast.
So, when he asks me to pretend to be his date for his matchmaking mom’s birthday, I return the favor.
As we get to know each other through pun-filled cooking lessons, farmer’s market outings and autumn festivals, I start to fall in loaf with Paris… and Olivier.
Suddenly, the idea of relocating here isn’t as crazy.
But does Olivier feel the same? And if he does, will he be able to get past the fact that I lied about my job?

Goodreads Blurb:
Grim(ace) while you work … Aisling Grimlock is having a bad week. Well, actually, she’s having a bad life — not that she’s complaining. Okay, she’s totally complaining. After being laid off from her secretarial position, she has no choice but to join the family business, and now she’s a full-time grim reaper. That’s right. She collects and transfers souls to the hereafter. Cool, huh? Not quite. On the second day of her new job, Aisling (literally!) stumbles over a dead body that’s not on her list and the stakes are suddenly raised because, when a name isn’t on the list, that means someone stole it (and that’s never a good thing). Aisling’s family, which consists of a tempestuous father and four overbearing older brothers, are hot on the case – but the answers they’re coming up with aren’t exactly soothing. It seems a contingent of wraiths have descended on the area, and they’re not just dangerous for unsuspecting souls and the general populace. The Grimlock family is at risk, too. If that weren’t bad enough, Aisling finds herself inexplicably drawn to Detective Griffin Taylor – the police officer who considers her a murder suspect. Oh, and she’s a wraith-magnet — although, truth be told, she’s more interested in Detective Taylor. Aisling is determined to prove that she has what it takes to be a great reaper – even if it means risking her life and proving her father and brothers wrong when it comes to her competence level. When things finally become clear, will Aisling survive long enough to make things right? Or, will she fall prey to the wraiths and the individual controlling them?

Goodreads Blurb:
GWENDOLYN GOODE LIVES A CHARMED LIFE.

GRAHAM GRAVES HAS NO TIME FOR WITCHY NONSENSE.
Not in his love life, and definitely not in his line of work. Goodreads Blurb:
Everyone thinks Dax Marshall is a prince of a guy. And he’s definitely charming.
But Jane has enough going on without adding a torrid fling with the boss to her life. Between her father’s illness, her wicked-ish stepmother, her little sister’s teenage drama, and the co-workers who depend on her—she can’t handle another mess.
No matter how tempting and gorgeous the mess may be. Or how messy he wants to get with her.
Dax has spent his life being very serious about only one thing: proving you can be successful while still having a helluva good time. But he’s just met the one woman who might break his I-can-charm-anyone streak. She’s actually taking him seriously…and she seriously thinks they have nothing in common and can’t be together.
Maybe he’s the one who needs a new view of happily ever after. It’s time to stop forking around.

Bethany:
This coffee shop is going to kill me.
Sure, it’s my dad’s dream. If he hadn’t died eight months ago, I wouldn’t be here, a college drop out, trying not to drown in debt.
Nor would I be staring into the muddy eyes of a viking-sized man that’s telling me everything I’m doing wrong-as if he knows so much about business in a small mountain town.
Except he does.
And when the biggest, most unexpected surprise of all falls in my lap, I’ll have no choice but to ask for his help.
Time for some power lipstick.
Maverick:
This girl is drowning.
She might have eyes like glacier pools and hair so black it’s glossy, but that doesn’t mean she knows how to run a coffee shop. She’s drowning in more than debt, interest, and credit card payments.
She’ll never make it.
But I kind of want her to.
Because underneath that bright lipstick and those sun dresses is a woman that I have an uncomfortable feeling is about to rock. my. world.
