First of all, sorry for changing this week’s topic, but I feel this will spare my hands and thinking process, neither of which is good right now. My doctor told me to use voice-to-text, but it doesn’t really work for me, likely due to my accent; I’m still trying to make it work. Am I … Continue reading Top Ten Tuesday/ Cosy Mysteries

Kindle Book Haul / Fall Reads
I’m a bit of a cop-out doing this post, but I'm not doing great; still, I wanted to post something, and I’m doing a Kindle Haul for two reasons: I need the books for the Readathon prompts (some on this list are challenging and out of my comfort zone, so posting about them will help … Continue reading Kindle Book Haul / Fall Reads
First Lines Fridays 22
My reading is questionable, and yeah, if anyone cares, I have started the Kristin Hannah books with The Great Alone. It’s not going as I hoped. I finished it, and I have a better feel for Home Front, but we will see; the issue is that I’m a character-driven reader, not a plot reader. I … Continue reading First Lines Fridays 22
Top Ten Tuesday/ Fall TBR 2026
This might feel like cheating, but today's list is of books I can use for Trick-or-Treatathon. It is a month-long readathon. I believe it started in 2024, and I have participated ever since. There are 50 prompts; you can try some of them or be an overachiever and try to do all 50 in the … Continue reading Top Ten Tuesday/ Fall TBR 2026
Top Five Wednesday/ Go And Grab
I need to confess this, which is something you might already know, that I can’t put a book-buying ban on myself since I will surely break it. I get books to cheer myself up, weird, I know, but it works if only I delete the ones I read. I would be golden, but I don’t. … Continue reading Top Five Wednesday/ Go And Grab
Top Five Wednesday/ Oldest TBR
I’m trying to fight my sleepy eyes over here because I fear that if I close my laptop, I will lose my planned list for this post. What I did here is I went to my oldest books on my Kindle. In this case, the books I got in 2015, so it feels like a … Continue reading Top Five Wednesday/ Oldest TBR
Top Ten Tuesdays/ Flowers on the Covers
I should be enjoying the weather, but the new wheelchair is coming sometime next month, so living through books has to do for the time being. I thought it would be a good idea to find some books with flowers on them, but it backfired since I lost my patience, so when I found about … Continue reading Top Ten Tuesdays/ Flowers on the Covers
Top Ten Tuesday/ Book In The Title
I’m trying to get some control of my life via books, as weird as that sounds, the only thing I can control right now is books. So I got bookshelves, have one with my unread books, and the ones I have read. In all, I have about 50, 25 to read still, so I’m switching … Continue reading Top Ten Tuesday/ Book In The Title
WWW Wednesdays #4
I’m pretty tempted to do a mini Kindle book haul to cheer me up, from me to me, so let me know if you'd like to see that. I still need to delete some Kindle books I read last month, since I basically only read from the Kindle backlog last month. By the way, if … Continue reading WWW Wednesdays #4
Freebie Friday #3
Hey Everyone As you know, I’ve been trying a new thing for me, where I share a book I love and provide a free eBook link to it, if possible. Why did I pick this book? As people are aware, I keep real around here, and I’m doing something out of my norm, which I’m … Continue reading Freebie Friday #3
