First Lines Friday 27

One of the issues I had last week was that I hadn’t read, but I’m happy to report that I only have one left outside of this one because that's the whole point. Next month, there should be KIKI’s Readathon and Readathin, but I haven’t seen any announcements yet. They both have a similar aim, … Continue reading First Lines Friday 27 →

Top Ten Tuesday/ Halloween Freebie

It’s no secret: I love this season in books, so I have an idea that I’m not sure will work. I will pick 10 fall-related words and show you a book with each one, but there's a catch: the book must be already read or have been in my Kindle before 2024. Wish me luck … Continue reading Top Ten Tuesday/ Halloween Freebie →

The Universal Monsters Book Tag!

We are in the double weekend for Trick-or-Treatathon, which means I can use one book for two prompts, technically making it easier to get a bingo. Still, I’m only reading what I have in my Goodreads TBR, which is currently 19 books: 11 from my Kindle and 8 I have to read for some reason … Continue reading The Universal Monsters Book Tag! →

First Lines Fridays 26

This is my question for you: if you blog, how do you tag your posts? This is starting to be the tricky part of blogging. I thought of using AI to help with this, but I don’t want anyone to feel that I’m faking it, so if you have any tips or thoughts on how … Continue reading First Lines Fridays 26 →

Top Ten Tuesday/ Fall Colours On The Cover

I know you might be fed up with me showing you fall-themed books, but they are what fit the readathon I’m taking part in, and I’m really enjoying the thrill element in the books I’m finding; therefore, I'm reading/listening to them right away even if it won’t help my TBR. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted … Continue reading Top Ten Tuesday/ Fall Colours On The Cover →

Top Ten Tuesday/ Fall TBR 2026

This might feel like cheating, but today's list is of books I can use for Trick-or-Treatathon. It is a month-long readathon. I believe it started in 2024, and I have participated ever since. There are 50 prompts; you can try some of them or be an overachiever and try to do all 50 in the … Continue reading Top Ten Tuesday/ Fall TBR 2026 →

First Lines Fridays 21

So I asked ChatGPT to recommend a thriller, and it suggested The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides. I wonder how it picked that one, because something tells me it wasn’t as random as I'd hoped. Anyway, it’s a novel I have been wanting to read, so I did. I wanted it to be twisted, as … Continue reading First Lines Fridays 21 →

Top Ten Tuesday/ Indie Reads

Hey, back to phone blogging since I can only use one hand, which is why I'm sick and being told that it's all in my head doesn't help at all. Anyway, this week's topic is about indie authors and indie reads. Lucky for me, I do keep an indie shelf on Goodreads, so I'll pick … Continue reading Top Ten Tuesday/ Indie Reads →

Top Ten Tuesday/ Books With Nationalities In The Title

This might be a weird introduction, but I’m trying to do this post as fast as possible, and I will try to explain what is going on tomorrow. I’m feeling the same way as my audiobook; I'm not sure how to manage my posts content with everything I want to do, but I have faith … Continue reading Top Ten Tuesday/ Books With Nationalities In The Title →

First Lines Fridays 18

This should be my wrap-up, but as is my brand currently, I’m late and behind on posts. I'll have time next month since I think I’m doing poetry month, which will free up some time for my to-do list. I figured this would be an easier post to do, sorry. Weird reading fact is that … Continue reading First Lines Fridays 18 →
