Coming out of closet can be super painful because society wouldn’t accept our choices but it is relieving. Finally, people are listening. I was born a Hindu and became a Muslim. When I declared that, my family told me to leave and people won’t let me a room. Even my marriage was a super secret–nobody was told of my past because that would have got us all killed. But it was relieving to be able to say prayers in public. I wonder what you have dealt with, considering your coming out was more serious than mine
