That Wristwatch

Today I wondered

What happened to that wristwatch?

It was my aunt’s

A person that meant a lot to me

And when she passed

That watch was left to me

But since that watch

Was pretty much

The only thing

I had of hers

I was scared to lose it

So, I gave it

To my mum for safekeeping
