Warning if medical stuff bothers you don’t read this post.

Everything started in January 2018, I was getting ready to go to bed, and all of a sudden, I get this sharp pain in my ribcage area. My mum thought I was having a heart attack, so she called for an ambulance, and I was taken to the ER. I was in so much pain to the point where they had to give me morphine.

After a few tests, they figured out that something is wrong with my liver. A few days in my hospital stay, they took an ultrasound. They found out I had gallstones and needed a cholecystectomy (the removal of my gallbladder). This terrified me because I didn’t know if I could still have hormones.

My mum asked me not to tell the doctor who was doing my cholecystectomy that I’m trans. Having respected my mum’s wishes, I couldn’t tell my surgeon about my concerns. February of the same year, I had another attack which resulted in another hospital stay.

I did email the doctor who was my endocrinologist at the time, and it took him weeks to answer the email. Now that I’m lucky enough to able to go to the gender clinic and have all trans care I need there. Which gives me rest of mind because they answer questions and any concerns I might have within days. I think I’ll end this post here. So not to bombard you with medical stuff I’ll split my story in two.
