Before I start on today’s book pick, I want to let you know that by this time next week, I will be having surgery. Well, everyone else, it would be an in-and-out test, but due to my Cerebral Palsy, I need to be put under. So if you get a one quote post from me, you would know why.
I feel everyone will know this book once I say by who it is. It is on my physical TBR, and I’ve had it there for about a year or two. It was an unplanned buy since there was a charity event at the hospital, and I say no to books. First Lines Friday is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?
