There’s something about me that some people might find weird, but sometimes books call out to me to read. Which is one of the reasons why I read a lot. Well, I’m reading a novel called Locked from the Inside, but I can’t find it on Goodreads, Storygraph, or Amazon, which is where I got it from, but it looks to be gone, which is a shame because I’m eight pages away from the end, and it would have 4/5 stars.

I haven’t started on my books from 2015, but I finished one from 2016, so that is a win I will take. I can’t believe I’ve already read 100 books. Here’s a lesson I learned this month: if I don’t respect myself, I can’t expect anyone to do so. I’m in pain every awake moment, and it’s a gamble whether my pain medications will work, and I’m not a gambling person at all.

For February, my plans are Readathin and poetry month to give my hands a break and maybe have more time to brainstorm content, so I can be better prepared than I am. I removed over 100 books from my Kindle since I have read them. I went into January thinking I wouldn’t get any new books, and I did well until the 29th, when a series I was interested in was free, so I got them. The bright side is that there are around 100 pages or fewer, so I can read/ listen to a few at a time.
