I shouldn’t have been writing this because I’m in doubt, let me explain. In the last week, I started getting a huge jump in views and visitors on my blog, and I mean from 60 views when I post one post or two to 250 views in one day. I tried to contact WordPress customer support, but I reached WordPress AI, which told me everything was real and perfect. I don’t know what you think, but to me it looks fishy. I’m sharing this to see what everyone thinks about the topic and about share tips.

Since it went from WordPress to Jetpack I’ve found stats all over at times

The same thing has been happening to me for the last two weeks or so. It’s spam bots, not real views. I’m like 99% sure.

Another bloget is having the same problem. She said all her new “likes” were from China and she didn’t think they were real at all.

I’ve questioned my views over the past year – my stats flew up. I’d like to be optimistic and think it’s all genuine but I’m not so sure 🤷🏻♀️

Discussed this with a few other bloggers and some had found info that it may be AI using our posts to “learn”, which is NOT okay with me! Mine aren’t all from China, as theirs seem to be, but all over the place. I haven’t found a way to block AI training, though.
