I can’t believe it’s the end of October already, but on the other hand, I’m grateful it is because it was a tough one. Just to give you an idea, instead of two, I have six, and this month was the first time since 2018 that I didn’t post a daily blog. I didn’t mean for it to happen, but I was stuck as my hands were in pain and I had over 4000 emails, so I knew something had to give. That thing ended up being content. Speaking of which, how do you feel about the free book’s posts? I love doing them, but I feel guilty because I have over 6,000 ebooks at my disposal.
More than anything today, I’m grateful for books, shows, and music, since I had days when all my energy went to my job and I came home in so much pain that I couldn’t move. When this happens, it’s scary, but the more I push, the worse it gets. My doctor wants me to try injections, which I will try, but we aren’t on the same page on what is causing the pain. The tricky part is that I’m not a doctor, but I know my body better than anyone else, and it’s a fine line between the two.
I have read over 100 books since I’m on 102, with five more days left. Out of all the books read, only two were not from my Kindle, so as much as I feel bad about getting books, the aim of Readathin will help with this next month, since the aim is to read your TBR without adding to it. I hope I did better during Dewey’s, because I thought it was taking place on the weekend of October, so I lost a few hours. I’m also doing poetry month since it’s best on my hands and a relief on my mind, since while I write, I process things.
