Falling Back Again by BANA

Ready for one more romantic song, yet to me it meant something else altogether. The music dilemma I’m having is that I can find some songs on YouTube but not on Spotify. One such example is Stronger Than Before by Lady Gaga, to the point that I’m starting to think it is made by AI, not the singer. The next question I asked myself was, should I like it any less if it is what I think it is? At the moment, my opinion is in the middle.

Anyway, back to the love song “Falling Back Again,” by BANA (an artist I never heard before yesterday). Which talks about the good and bad times in a relationship, something I’ve experienced, even if in the most recent years I’ve lived second-hand through my friends or people I know, since I haven’t dated in years. I didn’t find the lyrics of the song, but the line, “I’m falling back again, “Into the fire we made”, really crushed me last night because I have been dealing with mental health issues and as much as how not fun it is. It’s not how you fall that matters, but how you choose to move can be a different world.

You Are One

You’re just one

That will be touched by

All sorts of life

Some will wish you to fade

As if your life were a worthless trade

Remember, you are a jewel

Not glass remains

With the ability to break chains
