Yesterday, I got frustrated because I wanted to start this wrap-up post, but after looking at more than 1000 emails, my hands and eyes were overworked from staring at a screen. This month has definitely been poetry month, not only with writing, but I have also read some awesome poetry collections. By the way, am I the only one who finds that some blogs take forever to load? Is it my phone? Today is the 16th, and I got three World War II novels. I promised myself that if I manage to do the posts I planned to do, and I have something left in my hands, I will do a Bookstagram post.

I continued The One and Only Series and finished it; the only reason I hadn’t read the last two before was that I didn’t know they were released. I had a unique connection with Rudy’s story, so I’m pretty happy I was looking for novels in verse that I haven’t read. Here’s my current reading issue: every time I see a lesbian novella by Eva Lovelle, I need to read it right away since I get the feeling it will burn a hole in my  Kindle. I’m co-hosting Top Five Wednesday with Stephanie at Books Less Travelled, and it would mean the world if some of you joined.

In fact, I left whatever I was reading and read them; it’s a good thing they are short. Something else that was unplanned is reading the Endling series, also by Katherine Applegate. It’s a middle-grade book that reads pretty fast. I have a doctor’s appointment, which I have a feeling won’t give me more information than what I already know. The one thing I know for sure is that the heat and stress don’t help. I wrote some extra poetry, which I now need to schedule. The issue of blog space is still an ongoing problem, so if you have any ideas on how to fix it, please share them in the comments. In the end, I read 108, which is way more than I thought, and I have 22 books left on my TBR. At the start of the month, I had 90-something books, so that progress is, if I say so myself.

  1. Wow, that’s amazing! You made great progress on your TBR, and hopefully read lots of great books along the way. I’m sorry you haven’t been feeling well, I’ll be praying that you find the answers you need. And thank you for the tag! I appreciate your help.
