Celebrities Who Came Out In 2025

Something that I’ve been hearing the last few years is that we shouldn’t care about when people come out. In my opinion, someone who says something like that hasn’t tasted what it’s really like. I’m lucky to live in a place where LGBTI+ people have resources, and, most importantly, have laws in place for the protection of everyone. On the other hand, I’m pretty aware that it isn’t like this in some other European countries, let alone the rest of the world.

I’m not a political person, but with people like Trump in power, you can sense that gender and LGBTI+ hate crimes have increased feeling alone while facing something is the worst. Plus, talking about the celebrities who came out in 2025 will serve as a bit of pop culture because I know nearly no one from the list.

Anne Camp:

Before you come for me, I have watched Pitch Perfect multiple times, and I never seen You, but I never knew the cast’s real names, so it didn’t click until I read what she’s famous for. I looked up what she identifies as (not that it matters, labels are just labels). However, I did find out that she’s been dating Jade Whipkey, as per her Instagram posts, since the start of 2025.

Isabela Merced:

I never heard of the show The Last of Us outside of a list of LGBTI+ shows from a blog I follow, but what seems to be quite recent, Isabela confided to her co-star after an intimate scene that before her mother died, she tried to tell her that she was bisexual. From the quote, it’s unclear whether or not she managed to do so, but I truly hope she did.

Jade Carey:

Jade is a gold medal Olympic gymnast, and in an Instagram post, she publicly shared that she’s in a relationship with Aimee Sinacola, and for once it was such a great feeling that her coming out was received with support, since in the world of sports, coming out hasn’t been easy for athletes.

Bain:

Now, I know that some people are going to come after me, but I don’t think I’ve listened to a K-pop song unless you count some that featured another artist. Bain came out as gay, being the first active K-pop artist to do so.
