For every second that passes
No matter where you are
Or who you are
On busy days, you wish
It doesn’t go as fast
As your beating heart
On the other side
Of the sea
There are the nights
With the painful thoughts
Where you want it to run
And never come back
To leave you where you are

Time is a perfect example of relativity–
Moments with a loved one you enjoy is time that slips away quick
Grief, loss, disappointment, hurt, etc etc..is so heavy and seems an eternal experience
