With You Forever by Chloe Liese

So, I believe that I picked my current novel based on ACE characters, but about 40 pages from the end, I’m pretty sure that both Axel and Rooney are okay with being intimate with each other, at least. With You Forever by Chloe Liese is the fourth book in the Bergman Brothers series. Now that I have nearly finished it, I would suggest reading the books in order because some details about the family felt lost.

In my opinion, it is a pretty character-driven novel; in fact, in the first 100 pages, I was like, is something going to happen? But clearly, this is an unpopular opinion because, on Goodreads, it has a 23,000 plus in rating and still has an average of 4.12 out of 5 stars. The author looks to be pretty well-known on Booktok, even if they are a new to me author. It is listed as having disability rep, and if I’m not mistaken, I can see some autism traits in Axel, having sensory issues and such, although I don’t want to stereotype.

Axel’s dog was so cute when she warmed up to Rooney. Something that I can relate to Rooney is that she’s dealing with physical and mental health issues, and sadly, in some situations, like in my own life, where the two are connected. I’m just reading the acknowledgements, and I was right; Axel has autism. Something else I agree with is how difficult it is to start going to therapy due to many different factors. I like that the author picks some bright, beautiful colours from her covers.
