Top Ten Tuesday/ Favourite Middle Grade

Hosted by thatartsyreadergirl.

March 24: Genre Freebie (pick a genre and build a list around it! i.e., best/worst romances, non-fiction for travelers, memoirs for foodies, classics that feel timeless, romance novel kisses, science fiction that feels too real for comfort, women’s fiction for newbies, etc.)

I think this time around, I want to take a look at my favourite middle grade.

Roll with It

I can relate to Ellies (the main character) that I can’t leave out this list, you can read my review here.

Hurricane Child

I chose this book for its culture and realness.

Ivy Aberdeen's Letter to the World

I see this novel as a personal view of self-discovery.

Drum Roll, Please

I feel like Melly (the main character) is finding herself through the power of music.

The Mighty Heart of Sunny St. James

Any book that deals with characters that overcome anything medical warm my heart.

The Crossover

A different way to do middle grade in verse.

Hazel's Theory of Evolution

Ever since I read this book, It can’t leave my mind.

Genesis Begins Again

Genesis Begins Again, shows me how important self-love is.

The Moon Within

It’s a middle grade written in verse that has a good view of gender.

Inside Out & Back Again

This one made me feel all the feelings.
