A few weeks ago, in a post, I asked if you’d like to see my book unhaul. Sarah commented that they would enjoy that (the issue now is I can’t remember which Sarah it was because I went to look for that comment and can’t find it. I picked 20, which I recently read and one I DNF’ed. I’m going to tell you a bit about each one. Disclaimer: some of the books might use AI, but I can never figure it out. Also, for the sake of blog storage, I’m linking the books to Goodreads and not sharing their covers, but if anyone wants to check them out, they can.
Pumpkin Spice Witchery by Verna S. Yi – I was going to put it on my TBR, but when I read what it was about, I remembered I read it. However, if you are looking for a short cosy Fall story with a hint of magic, this one is for you.
The Bride at Hollowmere Abbey by J.R. Mercer– I liked this one, but I missed the thrill, which I know this author does well.
The Woman at the School Gate by J.R. Mercer – This is one of the novels I would love, as scary as it is to do so since I would be the first person reviewing it. If I had to sum up the story in a few words: you can erase a person’s documentation, but you can’t fully erase a loved one.
The Mother on My Daughter’s Birth Certificate by J.R. Mercer- another awesome thriller; it talks about how you can try to build a road on water with money, but the truth still comes out at some point.
My Daughter Is Not Missing by Shalender Singh, Vishnu Priya Singh Parmar – In my opinion, this is a thriller centred around AI, so it is scary in that way, because it looks and sounds so real when, in reality, nothing is there. So even if it’s not that of a wild climax. It still made me want to know what would happen.
Marry Me, Jackson by Barbara Lohr- a clean romance; all she wants to be is a health blogger and help clients; he’s a small business owner who is loved by everyone in town. He wants to help her; she doesn’t want his help at all. However, she might not have a choice since she isn’t great at DIY, so she uses cookies to win him over. Not that she needs the extra help!
As you can tell, this isn’t 20 books, but if I did 20 in one go, it would have been an ultra-long post, and I’m not a fan of that. So, depending on whether you people enjoy it. Yes, I’m removing books from my Kindle, but I still want to tell you a bit about the books
