When you are wearing a badge
That puts you under oath to serve
No matter the mood you are in
You have lives depending on you
And one mistake
Can mark you for the rest of your life
Since you are human in every sense

A deeply moving and thought-provoking piece, Alex. 🙏 The badge may represent duty, courage, and authority, but behind it stands a human being carrying immense responsibility and pressure.
I especially appreciate the reminder that those who serve are human too. They have emotions, difficult days, and moments of uncertainty, yet they are expected to remain steady because lives may depend on them. One decision can indeed leave a lasting mark.
Thanks
