I have already shown this book in one of my lists, and to be honest, I was way more excited about it then. I actually listened to about ¼ of it, but I have heard half of them, so I’m doing three things: 1. This post, 2. Read some reviews and 3. Give it until the end of the month. If it is not read, I will remove it from the TBR. First Lines Friday is a weekly feature for book lovers that was formerly hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?
- Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page.
- Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first.
