If you happen to look at my April wrap-up, you know that I planned to get back to Bookstagram, so here we are. I’m happy to say that I’m on my 21st book, which is NEVER BORING, Love & Fashion: Memoirs Of A Creative Heart In An Artistic Design World by Jens Kaeumle, a memoir about Jens’ life and the fashion industry. I’m not going to lie; a lot of the marketing numbers are going over my head. It is interesting to see that with changing jobs, he still had to adapt to new rules, even in a creative world like fashion tends to be.
The thing that kept me reading was that his relationship with his partner, Natasha, is that he is all for having kids, but she is less keen on the topic. Towards the end of the book, you can see that they are moving in different ways. In the ending chapters, we see the point of view of his partner, or so it reads to me. I found this memoir for free on Kindle, and I thought I would give it a go.
However, I won’t lie from the cover, I thought there was a queer element to it, but that was a bad assumption on my part. I wish some designs, sketches or art to break the chunkiness of the paragraphs. After I finished the book, I looked up the author’s artwork, and I like it. I rated it 3/5 stars.
