Watching Netflix?

Confession time: being in the mood to watch stuff is hurting my blogging side and my reader side. I’m not fond of the habit I have that if I’m enjoying a series, I won’t stop watching until I finish it or fall asleep. My watching YouTube shorts ban lasted only a week ops. I heard that Netflix is upping prices. Which I’m not happy about. If my mum didn’t watch it on a daily basis, I would remove it. Since I don’t own a smart TV, I can only use my laptop or phone to watch it.

I was going to delete my VPN subscription because I have not used it for a while, but it says I have over 100 days before I have to renew it, so I’m keeping it for the time being. Is anyone familiar with VPN? Is it safe to install on a new laptop? Since I’m keeping Netflix, I’m letting you know what I recently watched in the middle of and stuff that I might get to. By the way, do you want to know something weird about me? I can remember a book title, no problem, but a series/movie title is where I’m a hopeless case.

The first documentary series I want to discuss is Simon Bilies Raising. Now, I don’t watch sports whatsoever, and my thoughts going into it were that I would watch one episode and get bored, and that would be the end of it. I read a short memoir on Simon, which made me want to know more about her as a person. I feel like I’m worlds apart from hers since, as I said, I’m not even a sports viewer, but still, there was something in her story I could relate to.

What is on my continue-watching list is I Am A Killer; the 6th season (I believe) is out. It’s about people who have confessed to a crime and are currently serving a sentence for that crime. Something that I find pretty interesting is that while they confessed, 99.9% of them never fully admitted to what they did. You get to hear from everyone involved and come up with your inclusion of what really happened.

The next show I might watch is Worse Ex Ever. I never understood how you could commit a crime against someone you said you loved with your whole being. As everybody knows, most crimes are committed by partners or admirers you might not even know you have. Social media makes everything easier since most things can be found with a click of a key.

  1. I’ve been watching I Am a Killer too and have the same observations. It’s extraordinary how they’ve convinced themselves that the murders were unintentional, an accident or something else. It’s when the witnesses, family members and law enforcement provide additional evidence and facts that my head swiveled.
