January 26: New-to-Me Authors I Read in 2020 (If you didn’t read 10 new authors, that’s fine! Just do what you can.)
I know the prompt says 2020, but I already read from some new authors to me in 2021. So going to start with them first.

This one caught my eye because the title is 1996, and that’s the year I was born. Looking at Kirsty McManus’s list of books, I saw that she also wrote Mind Reader, which is also on my TBR.

I recently read The First Rule of Punk by Celia C. Pérez. The author did an excellent job explaining Mexican culture.

I wouldn’t have never picked this book by myself. Still, my friend at The fictional Journal told me about this month’s book picks for their club and Kingdom of the Wicked (Kingdom of the Wicked #1) by Kerri Maniscalco was one of them. I have to say that I don’t regret having it a read.

I fell in love with Cozy Cottage Café Series by Kate O’Keeffe in 2020. Although I have to say One Last First Date, the latest book I read from this series is my least favourite.

An author I started reading close to the end of 2020 is Rich Amooi, and I have Dying To Meet You on my TBR.

Reading from Hilaria, Alexander was scary at first because the cover looked like it was going to be a sexy novel. After I read it, I have to say her writing is smooth.

Traci Hall writes some cute characters.

Romi Moondi in the book Year of The chick writes a dreamy blogger.

The Henna Wars was one of my 2020 favourites.

As I say before I liked this novel and will read whatever Laurel Flores Fantauzzo publishes in the future.

Wow! Looks like you’ve already found some great new authors. THE HENNA WARS is one I definitely want to read this year. Glad you enjoyed it so much.
Happy TTT!
