I have been thinking about writing this post for a while, but I haven’t sat down to write it, so here I am. Which led me to this question: What was the first TV series ever made in the world? The internet says it was The Queen’s Messenger, which was broadcast in 1928, while The Television Ghost (1931–1933) is considered one of the earliest sustained TV series. I’m writing a list of the series I watched or am watching. The sad part is that some won’t be renewed. I watch series on Italian channels (Rai, Italia Uno), YouTube and rarely Netflix.
911 Lone Star
Rai did an episode daily for a couple of months. It started from episode one, and when I watched the last episode, I found out that they aren’t renewing it.
911 Nashville
It’s a spin-off of the original 991 series, but there is something weird about me; I’m not as much in the storyline, or the cast of both 911 Nashville and 991 haven’t held me in as much. They showed it on Fox, and it was by chance that I started, since Fox isn’t a channel I watch a ton.
Morgane: Detective Genius
It is set in France and Belgium, and it is in Fenech with the name HPI. I was able to watch it since it was translated into Italian and shown on Rai Channels, which is how I managed to watch it. It is a crime comedy in which the main character, Morgane, is a housekeeper with a high IQ, enabling her to see what others miss. The last two episodes are being aired tonight. Sadly, this is the end of the series.
This was meant to be a longer post, but I ran out of time since I overslept and played on my phone, ouch. I have to make another post about the true crime shows and such because the ones I mentioned here are ones I watch on cable.
