As it has become tradition, I’m running out of time, but I’m listening to a trans romance, a novel which is likely a five-star for me. Which is a sweet bonus, given I nearly didn’t get it. Since I judged a book by its cover, and the cover has zero queer vibes, but I’m so glad I did get it in the end. Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by The Artsy Reader Girl, who has a new weekly topic.
January 20: Goals for 2026 (Bookish or not! Share your reading goals, personal goals, etc.). I have been waiting to do this one since the first of January, so to say I’m excited is an understatement.
- Read as many books from my Kindle as possible.
- Make a plan regarding the books I got in 2015, since they have been more than a decade on there.
- Read at least 100 of the 2026 releases. (I have read 11 so far)
- Read at least 100 LGBT+ books. (I have read 10 so far)
- Read some from the backlist of my favourite authors.
- Mood read since that is some of my most enjoyed reads
- Try more buddy reads and book clubs
- Reach out more to people in the book community
- Worry less about readathons that are meant to be fun
- Try to get fewer books than I can read.
Some have returned from last year, some are now. I’m pretty sure some will change throughout the year, and more will be added.
