Holiday Movies Part 1

After about 10 years, I bit the bullet and bought a new TV so I could finally watch Netflix. Anyway, as I’m writing this, I’m still unsure if I want to tell you about the holiday movies I already watched or the ones I want to watch, so I’m guessing you will get a bit of both. However, the first thing I want to watch is A Royal in Paradise, which is on YouTube now, I believe I already saw it, and I wasn’t a fan, but I have a soft spot for royals and Cinderella stories, so it is getting a second chance later on today.

Speaking of royals, I just found one on Netflix I haven’t watched yet: A Royal Date for Christmas. A duke travels to the USA, but his suitcases are lost, so he enters a small-town boutique that offers styling services. The duke gets a liking for the boutique owner, and he hires her as a date to the ball, I believe, and that’s all I know so far. Speaking of Christmas balls, Netflix just added the movie A Cinderella Christmas Ball, which I saw and loved.

It’s about a dance teacher who was adopted and, while tracing her family roots, found herself at a royal castle. I honestly wish it were based on a novel, but I don’t think it is. If you know of any books that sound like that, please leave them in the comments. She meets the prince, who is in disguise, and he meets Chelsea Jones. So it’s a win-win; the prince needs her for something, and she needs access to the castle to learn more about her family history.

The first holiday I watched this year was Christmas Under the Northern Lights. An author joins her father since he’s thinking of selling her childhood home in a small American town, where people go to view the beauty of the Northern Lights. Since she’s having a writing block, she thought a change of scene would help. If you want me to write a version of this post featuring free movies on YouTube, let me know, since that might be more accessible to everyone.
