What Are My Bookish Dreams?

I have a vast imagination; in five minutes, my mind went from wanting to write about the history of cake to what I would wish for if I had a bookish fairy godmother, so as you can guess, there’s no connection between the two, but one sounds more fun for me to do, which is the one I’m doing. My bookish dreams are possible if I had the means; some are pure fiction, and some will come out while I’m brainstorming here.

First, here’s an idea that came to me: what would ChatGPT give me if I Google bookish dreams? Okay, when I typed ‘bookish dreams,’ it just gave the definition, but when I typed ‘What bookish dreams do you have?’ it gave me one I really liked. *Rescuing Lost Stories – Finding and finishing the half-written books abandoned in drawers, old hard drives, or forgotten minds—maybe even helping someone finally write the book they’ve been carrying inside. *

As a matter of fact, I tried to do something like this. My mother’s cousin’s wife would often share with me the story she wanted to write whenever they visited Malta, and I believe she eventually started writing it. When she passed last year, I asked her daughter if she had found any notes of that story, but she told me she didn’t find any. So, my first wish would be to see these notes and build on them so my words and hers are joined for that story to come to life.

I have been saying I will renew my library card for years now. However, I still haven’t, and I major part of why is that I need my books to be in eBook or Audio form due to my disability, so my next wish is as fictional as it sounds for libraries to share books since I believe books are written to be read, not on shelves unopened for years. Adding to this, I dream of everyone having access to books they enjoy, as this is a significant issue that prevents many people from reading.

Like I mentioned, not everyone is lucky enough to have funds for book buying or access to a library. My last two are pretty personal to me, as I’d like to have more time and help to review books, especially the self-published works. What I would give for a pair of good typing hands in my life in general. The other would be to meet some of my bookish friends in person, which I think is a common shared dream in the book community.

Okay, that was even more fun than I thought it would, so if you want more content like this, let me know. Before I go, what are some of the dreams you have related to your hobbies?
