Disability Representation On My TBR

No description available.

I went into this month thinking that I would read a ton of LGBTI+ books, given that I participated in the Male/Male Readathon. Still, in a way, I cheated since I left it open to the LGBTI+ Representations and some of the books I thought I would love, like Earthflown by Frances Wren. However, it’s safe to say that I won’t continue with the series. Then, books like This Violent Heart by Heather Levy, which wasn’t on my TBR but I updated to five stars because of how much I keep thinking about it. I’m also starting the audiobook of Bunny by Mona Awad as a last-minute decision since my book club is discussing it, and I thought I would join.

This month, I knew it was going to be stressful since I had my annual endocrinologist check-up, and it’s worse than going to the dentist, which is saying something. Last month, I went to the dentist for a root canal, and I wasn’t as stressed as I am over my hormone levels. I fear testosterone being taken away, although that would be unhealthy for me in many ways. In fact, as scary as it is to say out loud, but my body needs a dose every two weeks instead of three, which my endocrinologist thinks will help my Skeletal system.

As someone who’s in pain very often, so any idea that might help with that I would give a go. On another bookish note, I was planning to read about 50 books, which I now know is way more than I can handle, given all the other things going on. I read about 35 books. I used music to decompress, so I haven’t listened to so much music since I was a teen, but it’s what I needed at this time, even if I’m leaving about four novels from March, but today is a public holiday when Malta became untied from the British Kingdom.
