I can’t believe it’s the end of January already, and I’m even more shocked that I managed to post every day since 99.9 of the posts were done on Sundays, and I managed by a hair, especially this week since I have 900+ emails to go look at after I semi-finish this. At the beginning of December, I launched a giveaway of a $10 Amazon gift card and only two people submitted, so I kept it open, hoping for more people to join. Still, they didn’t, so I’m closing it and using a random wheel generator, which will pick one from the two.

As you can see, Lina is the winner, and by now, they should have the gift card. If you are seeing this and haven’t received it, let me know so I can check from my side. I have a doctor’s appointment and, therefore, won’t be here when this goes up; if anything goes terribly, I can’t fix it. I read 41 books, not the number I wanted, but it happens with reading slumps. Having said that, I’m happy to see that only nine didn’t come from my Kindle.

I’m participating in Readathin, like every year in February. Still, this year, I’m going into it without a specific TBR, which, even if I saw the posts, I don’t remember the prompts, but I’m mainly reading from my Kindle, so the main principle of the readathon is there. I haven’t taken part in some popular readathons, and I’m trying to get mad at myself. On another note, I’m doing a kind thing to myself, and February will be Poetry Month since, first of all, I’m really looking forward to some long writing sessions, and it relieves a ton of pressure in different ways.
