My Blog Is Seven! (Blog Anniversary)

Guess what? I have been going at it for seven years. Today is my 7th blog anniversary, and I went into doing it daily right away; even now, I know I wasn’t prepared for proper content or how to connect with people, so I stayed with 33 followers for a long time. I don’t think any of them still follow my blog, but if I’m wrong and you are here, thank you so much. I’m shocked that I haven’t annoyed you yet; if you were to ask me what kept you at for so long, I would say at least two reasons.

One, I don’t like to quit too quickly, and two, I believe in that dream of writing content for a living even if year after year it is looking more impossible, but as you can see, I haven’t given up hope just yet. Some awesome people and creators have left the blogging community to pursue other things. It is heartbreaking because my only contact with them was through their blog. The fact that I don’t follow any other social media as much as I do the blogging world doesn’t help either.

I want to leave it on a positive note since it is a fantastic feeling to be here, and I hope to still be here for years to come. An unofficial goal I have is to reach 3,000 followers, which is less than a hundred away, but if I don’t, it doesn’t matter since I have some fantastic people who sometimes support me more than I deserve. I won’t name people since I’m scared of forgetting someone, but you know who you are. On the other hand, if you are new here, let me know so I can go follow you. I’m always on the lookout for new blogs to follow. I’m hoping to join BlueSky, which looks to be a more active version than Twitter.
