A few days ago, Goodreads emailed me with upcoming January releases, and a couple caught my eye so I thought I would share them with you.

The first book I’m most excited for like what I feel could be the rest of the book community is Concrete Rose (The Hate U Give #0) by Angie Thomas. From reading some of the blurb, this one takes place before The Hate U Give. It is expected to come out on the 12th of January.

Emma Lord is coming out with a new book You Have a Match. Now, her debut novel Tweet Cute didn’t meet the hype there was for it to me, but I’m willing to give her another chance. The expected publication date is January 12th.

I loved Dear Haiti, Love Alaine; the first book from the duo authors, so picking their new release is a no-brainer. One of the Good Ones should be coming out on January the 5th.

I know I’m on an unpopular opinion here. Still, I like James Patterson writing and looking forward to their new book. Which should be coming out by the 25th of this month.

André Aciman is a hit or miss for me, I mean I loved Call Me By Your Name but hated Find Me. So, I don’t know how to feel about his new one.
I’m trying to limit the number of books I keep my eye on because I found many physical books, I didn’t know I had, and I still have to read them.

I like James Patterson, have many of his books. He even does this thing called “book shots” which are short reads.

I have never read a James Patterson – not because I feel anything against him, just haven’t managed to do one.

I think you would like the Women’s Murders Club series

Is that an easy entry series to James Patterson?
