Caroline by J. Bock (Book Review)

A world in the future that is breaking down and sadly like today’s world, most people are losing their jobs. The thought of not having enough to feed your family. Since the bosses fired a lot of people making their lives as they knew it is gone with a click of a finger.

I don’t know if this was planned by the author, but this world gives off North Korea vibes with the watches they wear in a way being used as trackers. The use of human waste being reused as a type of feed to the algae into fuel like gasoline. Which if I remember right, the same kind of waste is used as field soil in North Korea. It is a scary picture to see that when technology stops working, it messes all the world.

I would lie if I told you that some of the technical jargon didn’t go right over my head which is why I stay away from reading Sci-fi because I find it harder to paint a picture of the plot in my head. However, all the emotions that come off the characters carry it through thoroughly. I did like the chat and friendships between the characters

As a whole, I gave Caroline by J. Bock four stars out of five stars. I was kindly given a copy by the author in exchange for my honest opinion.
