When I was first starting reading the main character, Ashley Hamilton oh no she’s going to be this spoil, rich kid and I tend to have a hard time reading that type of personality. However, I kept reading, and I was proven wrong because as soon as she met Morgan Cameron who introduced to what became her most enormous passion that of tennis, I could feel a tender side to her.
I liked the way mental illness get handled, and this book has some layers and topics which makes it a bit harder to chew, but that also makes you feel that you’re in the world of that character which is something I look for as a reader. Not going to lie some plot twists will make your heart go on a race and makes you think on life.
It really touched me how Ashley Hamilton kept going after losing someone so close to her. Love’s Final Match shows you what a sincere and honest friendship should look like simply human and real. I read books by Anne Stone, and I feel like this book is written with a different writing style that I read for her before, I still enjoyed her story-telling from both a reader and an author point of view. After having said I decided to give Love’s Final Match (Black Gold Management Agency #1) by Anne Stone a rating of four stars out five stars.
(I got given this ARC copy from the author in exchange for my honest opinion. Love’s Final Match (Black Gold Management Agency #1) by Anne Stone comes out tomorrow the 10th of December so go get your copy now.)
