Ready to read about this story that will melt your heart as it did mine? Celeste Ayala is a policewoman whose mother instincts work its magic even while she was on duty. She was working her shift at Sor María Ludovica in Buenos Aires, Argentina when she heard the news that a malnourished baby was just brought in by a social worker from dismal conditions at home case with the other five siblings.
Celeste heard that a seven-month-old needs feeding she took permission from hospital personal and breastfed the baby since she had a 16-month-old daughter herself. She didn’t think twice her maternal instinct kicked in, and she did what felt right. Her partner took to Facebook where he posted a photo and caption saying “I want to make public this grand gesture of love that you made today with that baby, who you did not know, but for who you did not hesitate to act like a mother.”
After this post went viral with comments like “God bless you” and “I congratulate you as a mother and woman!” This story has more than 300 comments and over 110 thousand shares. Minister of security of the Province of Buenos Aires, Cristian Ritondo twittered the photo saying “spontaneous love.” He went the extra step by promoting Celeste from officer to sergeant.
