August 13: Book Characters I’d Love to Be Besties With (submitted by Michelle @ Pink Polka Dot Blog) I did this week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic last week by mistake so I’m swapping topics.

(Women’s Murder Club #1)
by James Patterson
I would love to be part of the friend group in this series.

by Lesley Pearse
If I was Rosie’s friend, I would want to tell her that everything will be okay in the end.

(Alex Cross #1)
by James Patterson
Alex Cross is the main character in this series and being friends with him means I’ll get a chance to figure out his way of thinking.

by Derek Milman
I think, I want to be Aidan best friend just to solve the murder.

(Stewart Island #1)
by Tracey Alvarez
Piper Harland seems to be a cool chick to be friends with.

(When the Wind Blows #2)
by James Patterson
I want to be friends with Max because she’s bad-ass and strong.

(Heartstopper #1)
by Alice Oseman
Charile and Nick so sweet and be great friends.

by Francesca Zappia
Eliza Mirk is so creative I think we would be good friends.

by Tracie Vaughn Zimmer
I saw a lot of Josie in me when I read this book this month so of course I want to be your friend.

by Carol Lynch Williams
I feel like London needs someone to listen to her and I want to be that friend.

Rosie has my attention! Never heard of that book, but it’s always great to see older rec. I put a couple of characters with a bad home situation on my list of potential friends, too — you just want to give them some respite!

A few of these books are new to me. I love it when there’s a character in a book that you care about so much, that you just want to give them a hug and tell them that everything will turn out okay.
