Yesterday, when I was looking at my list of 2024 LGBT+ releases that I didn’t get to but still would like to read, I also found a bunch from this year I want to read. At the start of 2025, I had this plan to try and read new releases the day they came out. Still, that plan went sideways very quickly since I couldn’t find books I was interested in reading, and the ones I was interested in weren’t available for me to read, which is partially to blame for my reading slump, but I think most of the books on my list could help with that. Plus, I’m killing two birds with one stone since two of my reading goals were to read at least 100 2025 releases and to get to as many LGBT+ as I can. The bonus is that most of them I can use for the prompts in the male/male readathon I’m participating in.
