Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by thatartsyreadergirl with a new topic every week.
I know that this week’s prompt is bookish quotes, but I have done this topic, and I currently have like four quotes in my kindle, and that’s not enough to do a post with. The prompt questions I would ask authors caught my eye, so that’s what I’m doing this week.
I have been quiet on the subject but the mean tweets that JK Rowling about trans people. I would ask how she felt after she posted those tweets? From a trans person point of view, it hurts just hearing about it, let alone reading the thing.
Which bring me to my next question did you write ‘queer characters’ because you wanted to write them that way or was it a marketing plot to get more readers?
I have two questions for James Patterson, the first being how do you manage to write more than one book a year? I mean I’m writing a novel in verse, and from the looks of it, it will take me more than a year. The other question is, how do you pick co-authors?
The next author I would question would be Jeffery Archer would have liked to know how the shift from a politician to an author was? The next thing I would ask would be how much reality and fiction do his Prison Diaries have?
My two questions for E.L. James would be; did you except Fifty Shades of Grey to be such a success, and what was the research behind Fifty Shades of Grey?
My last author today is Stacy Claflin, and I would what’s her to writing such beautiful characters and her secret to self-publishing?
I might get some hate for the questions I ask JK Rowling, but I honestly want to know.
