Top Ten Tuesday/ Dream Covers

Top Ten TuesdayTop Ten Tuesday is hosted by thatartsyreadergirl with a new topic every week.

September 15: Cover Freebie (choose your own topic, centered on book covers or cover art)

Here’s the thing as an author whenever I’m writing anything that might get published, I always have a cover in mind for each project. As you guys know, I’m currently writing a novel which might or might not get published. However, I do have a dream cover in mind and here are ten book covers that are my inspiration.

Christmas in Paris: A Christmas Novella Travelling Light: Poetry

I like the black silhouette and things related to the story in the background.

Love Undercover Let Me Show You (True-Blue, #1)

I can’t tell you how happy I would be if a queer couple would accept to be on my book cover.

The List of Things That Will Not Change Ripples & Waves: A Queer Retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's The Little Mermaid

I do like clean and simple fronts

Alex in Wonderland The Meaning of Birds

I honestly don’t know what these kinds of book covers are called so if you know, tell me in the comments.

My Brother's Name is Jessica Drum Roll, Please

A bright cover is so eye-catching, in my opinion.

So, do you have any fresh ideas for a book cover, let me know!

Alex

  1. Great selections!! I loveee the one for Christmas in Paris omg– I think I might look it up. I recently read ripples and waves and love it so much, glad to see someone else did too! This week was a hard prompt (there were so many options haha) but I really like where you’ve gone with it. Here was my go at this TTT 🙂 :https://hundredsandthousandsofbooks.blog/2020/09/15/top-ten-tuesday-predicting-plots-of-books-on-my-tbr/
