There was this man
That lived on a farm
With endless rows
Of orange trees
With oranges as sweet
As honey
This yummy fruit
Became the livelihood
Of the family
And they got
Out of poverty
One orange
At a time

Chickens were how my father’s family got out of poverty. We were the largest chicken farm in our county, till my grandad sold it in lots to retire. Between that and his pension, royalties from some patents from the Apollo space mission, and my Oma’s dividends was he able to retire comfortably. Before that, his family were migrant workers from their first days coming to the new world, around 1750 CE his family came.

So many types of oranges, some old, many new! I think this sounds like a believable enough story.
