The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo

I read this book a few days ago, and here I’m for another review. So, I didn’t review it right away because I needed to take it all in and think about it all. Reading this book in this period of my life wasn’t a brilliant idea. I could feel my heart breaking. I think it affected me this way for two reasons. First, it’s beautifully written. Secondly, I could see the likeness of my book to this book. I challenge you to read this book without crying because I doubt it can be done. Loved this book gave it five out of five stars.
