As you know, I have been trying this new thing for me where I tell you about a book I loved and share a free ebook link to that book if possible.
Why I picked this book?
I got this novel in the new year’s book haul, and yea, I get that it is a holiday read, but I do think that January is still in the season for a holiday-themed book. If you need a laugh, Mollie’s grandma, ‘the Duchess,’ will crack you up.
First Lines:
“I’m not flying home just to bail you out of jail, Duchess. Not again.” I tried to sound like I meant it this time. Like I was mature. Determined. Calm. Or at least, not hysterical.
Last thing I needed was to let my emotions get the better of me. I was not going to make a fuss, throw a thirty something’s version of a tantrum, and get kicked out of Hill of Beans for disturbing the peace.
