It’s another Christmas tradition that I share some free kindle. So here we are with a Christmas movie in the background, and my mum is making me some coffee. I will be doing my favourite thing, looking for free books.

I read this one; it was good and not your everything concept.

There’s only one rule in the world I come from.
Keep our existence a secret. Period.
The day my sister broke that rule one too many times, I knew there would be consequences. I expected us to be sent to one of those schools for “troubled” kids—and maybe Daizlei Academy was, in a way. But really, it was far more complicated than that.
You see, I thought that world had forgotten me. Forgotten us. For years we were left alone, and one day . . . we weren’t.
It was only when I got there that I remembered the second rule:
Trust no one.
Because in our world? They would kill me if they knew the truth of what I am.
Daizlei Academy is a school for Supernaturals.
And me? I’m so much more.

A freak storm has her sliding down the mountain…right into the arms of her ex.
Eden McLaughlin is fed up with rich men who scoff at her outdoor product line. She’s worked for Explore Getaway Bay for a long time, and she tinkers with making outdoor survival products in her spare time—and she can’t get a single investor on the island to back her. Not even her employer, as no one knows who actually owns the company.
So fine. She’ll take a hike, literally.
When an isolated storm causes a downpour and then a landslide, Eden has no choice but to go with the tons of rocks and mud—right off the side of a cliff and into the arms of her ex-boyfriend.
Holden Holstein drags her under an overhang just in the nick of time. He has no supplies, which is super embarrassing as he owns the island’s biggest outdoor company, Explore Getaway Bay, and he should know better. But he was just getting out of the office for a moment.
He’s thrilled to discover the mud-covered woman in his temporary shelter is his ex-girlfriend, who he’s never gotten over. But he’s not fond of the huge wound on his leg that’s sending fire through his system, nor the fact that the landslide took out the only path back to safety.
Eden has a few supplies–as well as only eyes for Holden. As they spend time out in the wilds of Hawaii trying to survive, their old flame is rekindled. But with secrets and old feelings in the way, will Holden be able to take all the broken pieces of his life and put them back together in a way that makes sense? Or will he lose his heart and the reputation of his company because of a single landslide?

Visit the small town of Huckleberry Hollow this season for a cozy Christmas romance set in the mountains of Georgia.
Cameron Kelly’s longest dream has been to grow in recognition as a professional artist. Her watercolor paintings are colorful and vibrant, inspired by her hometown of Huckleberry Hollow: the slightly crooked courthouse steeple, the silhouette of mountains rising up at the end of Main Street, the occasional roadside chicken cocking its head up at passing tourists.
Cameron has recently landed a spot as a featured artist in the local art gallery, but sales are slim (all right, non-existent so far). So when a well-known gallery client commissions a painting from Cameron to feature at the upcoming Christmas gala, she rushes to accept, no matter the timeline. Except now her interactions with the event’s organizer, Lucas Galen, seem to grow more and more frequent. And that’s unpleasant. He’s abrupt. He’s impatient. He’s altogether…well, very blue-eyed, yes, and also…unsettling in the way she’s beginning to feel when he stands close with that checklist in hand.
Lucas Galen expected a restful two weeks at his aunt’s home in Huckleberry Hollow: free of logistics, planning, or organizing—really, anything that remotely resembles the last few exhausting months of work. Oh, and he also expects a holiday free of any dating (certainly none of that). When he’s unexpectedly thrown into leading his aunt’s extraordinary and unparalleled Christmas gala (her description), Lucas clashes with Cameron, a brunette artist who increasingly seems to pop up everywhere—including his thoughts, come to think of it.
I’m hoping to maybe read this one next. However, it’s Christmas, and all I want is a thriller.
