Let’s hope my hands don’t give on me just yet because I want to post this. Sam is currently hosting WWW Wednesday from Taking On A World of Words.

A washed up Gospel Singer.
A group Seeking a Renewal.
A final chance For a comeback.
The gospel singing group Living Praise has had a relatively successful career. They have sung a few gospel songs that have become standards. They had a song even hit the pop charts ten years ago. Today though, they are in a lull and are looking for the key to reviving their career.
BUT Minister Tommy Settles, one of the anchors of the group, is falling apart. He can no longer reach the notes on even their signature song that he used to hit and his voice cracks every time he sings. And on top of it all, he is becoming harder to work with.
Can Tommy and Living Praise get back to their glory days? Will They work through the issues that have stood in their way? Can God work a revival in and through this group?
I never thought I would like this kind of plot, but surprisingly I do.

It’s the perfect escape. Until things get real…
Mia Strong is beyond stressed out. With pre-med courses, the looming qualifying exam, a job, and her mother’s serious health problems, she’s feeling the pressure from all sides. As a distraction, she turns to online gaming and her newest addiction, Dragon Epoch. Mia seeks an escape into fantasy—never dreaming that she’d find something real.
He goes by FallenOne. He’s smart, funny, and has a sexy voice. Their instant connection is the best thing that’s happened to Mia in a long time. He listens for hours while she bares her innermost fears. But he holds everything back about himself. At first, the mystery intrigues her, until she faces a life-altering decision. Now, Mia needs someone she can trust.
Will FallenOne’s friendship turn into something real? Or will the fantasy disappear, leaving her alone and in turmoil?
Am I the only one who loves gaming-related or in-game setting books? However, I have to say that I didn’t like the cliffhanger at the end.

Goodreads Blurb:
Having your cake and eating it too is something everyone on the planet wants in life. For some, it is the happy family with two monsters for kids that no matter what happens, they can do no wrong, some it is fame on the big screen, being stalked by paparazzi and others, it is to travel the world seeing all that mother nature has to offer. Gag me with an overstuffed pillow. Don’t get me wrong, I wanted it all, but my vision of happiness is the dream job, the dream car, the awesome apartment and a plate of bacon all to myself. The only thing I didn’t want was a man. In my experience, men only cloud your judgment and replace your dreams with theirs.
Things were going according to plan until fate, karma, destiny, fortune or whatever you want to call it stepped in and said “Oh wait, no, I don’t think so.” and took it all from me.
For now I’m stuck mooching off my best friend and working desperately trying to figure out a way to get it all back. That is until fate slaps a Jesse in my face. But let me start from the beginning. So grab a plate of Bacon or your favorite snack and let me tell you all about it.
Okay, I don’t know what Kelly is about outside the blurb. Hence, I’m happy to say that this is the last novel in my 100 books TBR before I start on holiday reads.
